WHAT IS IT?
Cosmetic acupuncture is not the latest fad or new thing on the market. It has in fact, been practiced in China for thousands of years. It is Acupuncture on points of the face to stimulate the meridians and therefore improve muscle tone and skin contraction, in turn helping to eliminate fine lines and wrinkles. The treatment also helps to reduce the sagging jowls and helps to eliminate puffiness by improving the metabolism – the skin circulation is greatly improved and this helps even out colour tone and tighten the pores. As the treatment is totally natural and is working with the body’s energy, you will feel revitalised all over and your general sense of well-being will be improved – this is a fantastic alternative to medical and chemical treatments.
Improvements can be evident after the first treatment, although significant improvements are usually clearer after you have received a number of treatments. As the patient, it’s completely your choice, – you may decide that you would like a few treatments during the build up to a special occasion, or you may want to embark on regular treatments throughout the year – it’s up to you.
DOES IT HURT?
The needles that are used for Acupuncture are very fine disposable needles. There is very little sensation when needled with them, and only a mild stinging sensation may be experienced on some occasions. In fact, the whole experience of a treatment can be very relaxing in itself.
WHO CARRIES OUT THE TREATMENT?

A free 15 minute consultation can be given to discuss the procedure with you and to assist with any questions that you may have, as well as assess suitability for treatment. Prior to treatment beginning, an initial consultation must be carried out, which includes a detox treatment.
